An Effluent Treatment Plant involving Activated Sludge process is designed and commissioned by CA to treat 400 cu.m/day of effluent with inlet COD 3000 mg/L. The total cost of these soft drink industries project was Rs. 0.8 Million and the plant was successfully commissioned in 1987 with treated effluent COD – 100 mg/L.

Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. is one of the leading soft drink makers in India. The industry has established it soft drink manufacturing and bottling plant at Goblej, Dist. Kheda in Gujarat, India. An Effluent Treatment Plant involving Activated Sludge process is designed and commissioned by CA to treat 1200 cu.m/day of effluent with inlet COD 3000 mg/L. The total cost of the project was Rs. 20.1 Million and the plant was successfully commissioned in 1998 with treated effluent COD – 100 mg/L. These soft drink industries has appointed CA as their consultants to operate and maintain the above mentioned treatment.

Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. has established another soft drink manufacturing and bottling plant at Nashik, India. The industry had appointed CA as their consultants to design, construct and commission an effluent treatment plant to treat the effluent from the manufacturing activity. The Effluent Treatment Plant involving Activated Sludge process is designed to treat 400 cu.m/day of effluent with inlet COD 1500 mg/L. The project was on a turnkey basis. The total cost of these soft drink industries project was Rs. 4.9 Million and the plant was successfully commissioned in 2001 with treated effluent COD – 100 mg/L.
Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd., Bhopal.
A ]third soft drink manufacturing and bottling plant is set up by the industry at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, India. The industry appointed CA as their consultants to carry out the expansion of their existing effluent treatment plant. The expansion was done by providing Activated Sludge process to treat 500 cu.m/day of additional effluent with inlet COD 1200 mg/L. The project was on a turnkey basis. The total cost of the project was Rs. 3.9 Million and the plant was successfully commissioned in 2003 with treated effluent COD – 100 mg/L.
Nyanza Bottling Co. Ltd., Mwanza, Tanzania.
The Coca Cola bottling soft drink industries plant generated 900 cu.m/day of effluent with inlet COD of 1300 mg/l. The entire scheme was approved by Coca Cola, Atlanta and Coca Cola, Atlanta gave us the registration as Approved Vendor for Africa for all their bottling plants. The treatment plant was put up to achieve the COD of < 60 mg/l, which is the norms for Tanzania for the plants located on the Lake Victoria. As per the requirement of Coca Cola, online fish pond was provided.
