Services provided : Consultancy services for cattle dung based 4500 kg/day Compressed Bio-gas Generation plant for Palm Green Projects Pvt. Ltd., Uttar
Pradesh under SATAT.

Salient Features of the Plant:

  • Collection of 200 Metric Ton cattle dung per day from local cattle owners and transportation of the same to the project site.
  • Two digesters made of RCC with having total retention time of 20-25 days for volatile solids to degrade and form methane.
  • Recirculation of supernatant from the digester to the collection tank for diluting of cattle dung and reducing the raw water consumption.
  • Generation of around 12000 cu.m of bio-gas per day containing approximately 52% to 60% bio-methane or 4500 kg/day CBG.
  • Provision of double membrane bio-gas storage balloon and scrubbers for purification and methane enrichment of the bio-gas.
  • Installation of compressors for compressing the purified biogas from 5.1 bar to 200 bar pressure and bottled into a cascade of cylinders.
  • Generation of around 4.5 Metric Ton of bio-CNG per day to be used as transportation fuel, cooking and heating.
  • The digesters are designed with gas mixing to avoid stratification and to maintain required shear rate for optimum bio-gas generation.
  • Provision of two numbers of filter-press for solid-liquid separation of the digested sludge (digestate).
  • Generation of 21 Metric Ton of solid organic manure and 250 cu.m of nutrient rich filtrate per day, which will be sold to the farmers without addition of any synthetic chemicals, promoting organic farming as a soil conditioner.
