Gujarat Mineral Development Corp., a mining industry, has set up Chrostat project in Kadipani. An effluent Treatment Plant consisting of plain and physico-chemical treatment process is designed and commissioned by CA to treat 400 cu.m/day. The design of the effluent treatment plant is base on the inlet suspended solids and fluoride concentration of effluent with inlet COD 2000 mg/L. The total cost of the project for this mining industries was Rs. 0.4 Million and the plant was successfully commissioned in 1994 giving treated effluent COD – 1000 mg/L.
