Based on the combined effluent quantity, to give details of the total sewage quantity being discharged or the existing drainage network overflowing into the Nallah. To collect the map from JDA of their existing outfalls and based on the population and probable quantity of discharge, decide the locations for establishment of sewage pumping stations and sewage treatment plants.

To give the treatment scheme of each of the treatment plant with quantity, quality and desired quality by JDA. If the sewage is to be recycled, then modify the treatment scheme accordingly.

To prepare DPR for submission and approval of JDA. To prepare for final design based on a quality of raw effluent as given and based on chosen technology along with preliminary design/ drawing and cost estimates. To determine the requirements & cost of operation including manpower, chemicals, spares & consumables, disposal etc. for operation and maintenance (O & M) of STP. To estimate of a total investment of proposed STP.
