ujarat Ambuja Proteins Ltd. is a starch industry situated at Hitmatnagar, Gujarat, India. The industry is engaged in manufacturing starch, dextrose and sorbitol. An effluent Treatment Plant involving two-stage Anaerobic Activated Sludge process is designed and commissioned by CA to treat 1500 cu.m/day of effluent with inlet COD 9000 mg/L. The total cost of the project was Rs. 10 Million and the plant was successfully commissioned in 1994, giving treated effluent COD < 250 mg/L.

idhi Siddhi Bios Ltd. is one of the leading starch manufacturing units, situated in Gokak, Karnataka, India. The industry is engaged in manufacturing corn starch and other starch related products viz. glucose, maltrodextrin, dextrose and liquid glucose. An effluent Treatment Plant comprising of Anaerobic Activated Sludge process is designed by CA to treat 1200 cu.m/day of effluent with inlet COD 12000 mg/L. The total cost of the project is Rs. 4 Million and the plant is ready for commissioning with expected treated effluent COD < 700 mg/L. Another effluent Treatment Plant for the industry comprising of Anaerobic Activated Sludge process is designed by CA to treat 1000 cu.m/day of effluent with inlet COD 4000 mg/L. The total cost of the project is Rs. 3 Million and the plant is ready for commissioning with expected treated effluent COD < 50 mg/L.

idhi Siddhi Chemicals is located at Viramgam, Gujarat, India. The industry has set up its starch manufacturing plant this location. An effluent Treatment Plant involving Anaerobic Activated Sludge process is designed and commissioned by CA to treat 400 cu.m/day of effluent with inlet COD 20000 mg/L. The total cost of the project was Rs. 5 Million and the plant was successfully commissioned in 1991 to give treated effluent COD < 400 mg/L. Thereafter the effluent treatment plant was successfully modified in 1998. The industry had appointed CA to operate their effluent treatment plant consisting of Anaerobic and Activated Sludge processes.
