IFFCO.
IFFCO is one of the pesticide industries for leading pesticide manufacturers in India. The industry is engaged in manufacturing Malathion at their production facility in Kalol, Gujarat, India. Their existing Effluent Treatment Plant was modified by CA to treat 80 cu.m/day of effluent with inlet COD 120000 mg/L. The modified treatment scheme involved Activated Sludge Process. The effluent treatment plant was successfully modified at the total cost of Rs. 1.2 Million, giving treated effluent COD – 100 mg/L.
Khatau Junker Ltd.
Khatau Junker Ltd. is situated at Ankleshwar, Gujarat, India. These pesticide industries is engaged in manufacturing pesticides viz. Monocrotophos, DDVP and Malathion. An Effluent Treatment Plant involving physico-chemical treatment and Activated Sludge process is designed and commissioned by CA to treat, (a) 80 cu.m/day of effluent with inlet COD 70000 mg/L and (b) 230 cu.m/day of effluent with inlet COD 5000 mg/L. The total cost of the project was Rs. 4.5 Million and the plant was successfully commissioned in 1993,giving treated effluent COD – 300 mg/L.
Lupin Laboratories Ltd.
Lupin Laboratories Ltd. is located at Panoli in Bharuch, Gujarat, India. The industry is engaged in manufacturing Monocrotophose, Phosphomidone and Malathion. An Effluent Treatment Plant comprising of Activated Sludge process is designed and commissioned by CA to treat 80 cu.m/day of effluent with inlet COD 30000 mg/L. The total cost of the project was Rs. 2.6 Million and the plant was successfully commissioned in 1990, giving treated effluent COD – 600 mg/L.
