Alpha Flour Mills Ltd.

Alpha Flour Mills Ltd is an Effluent Treatment Plant based on Activated Sludge process is designed and commissioned by CA to treat 100 cu.m/day of effluent with inlet BOD 500 mg/L. The total cost of the project for food and allied product industries was Rs. 0.3 Million and the plant was successfully commissioned in 1992 with treated effluent BOD – 30 mg/L.

Heinz India Ltd.

Heinz India Ltd. has set up their Tomato Ketchup manufacturing plant in Bangalore, India. An Effluent Treatment Plant was designed and commissioned by CA to treat 200 cu.m/day of effluent and recycle the treated effluent. The plant was designed considering Temp, SS and Chlorine concentration of the effluent. The treatment scheme consisted of physico-chemical and tertiary treatment. The total cost of the project was Rs. 1 Million and the plant was successfully commissioned in 1999 with 180 cu.m/day effluent being recycled.

The above effluent treatment plant was expanded to treat 400 cu.m/day of effluent. The total cost of the expansion was Rs. 1.2 Million and the plant was successfully commissioned in 2001 with 380 cu.m/day of effluent being recycled.

Vadilal Industries Ltd.

Vadilal Industries Ltd. have set up their canned food plant at Dharampur in Valsad, Gujarat, India. An Effluent Treatment Plant consisting of Activated Sludge process is designed and commissioned by CA to treat 100 cu.m/day of effluent with inlet BOD 1000 mg/L. The total cost of the project for food and allied product industries was Rs. 0.3 Million and the plant was successfully commissioned in 1993 with treated effluent BOD – 100 mg/L.

Wockhardt Ltd.

Wockhardt Ltd. is situated at Kalol in Panchmahal, Gujarat, India. An Effluent Treatment Plant consisting of Activated Sludge process is designed and commissioned by CA to treat 120 cu.m/day of effluent with inlet COD 4000 mg/L. The total cost of the project was Rs. 0.6 Million and the plant was successfully commissioned in 1986 with treated effluent COD – 200 mg/L.
